    FAQ

On this page, you’ll find answers to the most common questions parents ask about my pediatric sleep consulting services. If you don’t see your question here, feel free to reach out—I'm always happy to help!

What is a pediatric sleep consultant?

A pediatric sleep consultant is a trained professional who helps parents gently guide their child toward healthy, independent sleep habits. At More Sleep More Joy LLC, I offer personalized support and step-by-step plans to help your baby sleep better — so your whole family can rest.

What age do you work with?

I currently work with babies and toddlers from 4+ mos. to 4 years. If your baby is younger than 4 months, please feel free to still reach out.  I am happy to connect you with another IPSP sleep coach who specializes in working with newborns.

    What methods do you use?

I use gentle, evidence-based methods customized to your baby and your parenting style. I avoid harsh 'cry it out' techniques and focus on building trust and consistency.

How long does it take to see results?

Most families begin to see improvement within 3 to 7 days, with full progress in 2 to 3 weeks depending on your baby’s needs.

Is this safe for my baby?

Yes. My approach prioritizes emotional wellness and follows all AAP safe sleep guidelines. I recommend consulting your pediatrician before beginning.

    How are your services delivered?

All services are virtual, including video calls, phone calls, and email support — so I can help families anywhere!

    Do you offer follow-up support?

Yes. All packages include follow-up support to adjust the plan and encourage your progress. You're never on your own.

    Do you guarantee results?

While results vary by child, I commit to providing a clear plan, ongoing support, and expert guidance. Many families see success in just days.

Can I still breastfeed or co-sleep and work with you?

At More Sleep More Joy LLC I respect your choice and values.  If you're breastfeeding, room-sharing, or considering transitions, I will happily work with your family goals in mind.

Due to liability reasons, I do not work with families who wish to co-sleep while sleep training.  No judgement (I co-slept in the early months myself)... it is just a risk I am uncomfortable taking on as a consultant.  If in the future you do decide your family would like to make a change from co-sleeping to independent sleep, I am here to help!

What's the first step to getting started?

Start by contacting us or booking a free sleep assessment call. We'll help you choose the right package and guide you every step of the way.

Didn't get your questions answered?  Please reach out... I'm just a message away!
